Founded in 2002, Rockland Bicycling Club welcomes beginners and experienced cyclists to join us on rides in and around Rockland, Westchester and Orange counties in New York and Bergen County in New Jersey. We work with community, state and national groups to promote safe cycling for everyone and we're members of the League of American Bicyclists and the NY Bicycling Coalition.

Club Rides

We have road rides at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels that span the county and neighboring regions. We have rides on rail-trails and county streets and rides that go through our beautiful state parks. We have weekly multi-level and multi-club rides where cyclists of varying abilities can get together and enjoy the same route at different paces.

Monthly Meetings

We meet monthly throughout the cycling season to discuss club business and future rides. Meeting topics include best practices for bicycle maintenance, bike tech and advocacy issues. Past outside speakers have included bike shop owners, law enforcement, transportation planning officials, physical therapists, and sports nutritionists.
